About the Book:

The book is based on the story of St. Monica, a mother distraught over her son's lost faith. The text assists the reader to realize that God uses every event and circumstance of life to deepen the intimacy of the relationship that God wishes to bring about with each of us.

About the Author:
Dr. Jack Buchner, Director of Evangelization at St. Joseph's parish in Cockeysville, Maryland, holds a doctorate in ministry from St. Mary's Seminary and the University of Baltimore. A member of the National Council for Catholic Evangelization, Dr. Buchner is also an associate professor of theology at Loyola College and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. An author of several articles published by the Pastoral Arts Association of Florida, he also served as a member of the subcommittee on Catechesis for the National Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Education.
